Code found on RockstarGames.com indicates PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2

We have discovered to the most conclusive evidence so far, that indeed Rockstar is planning to release a PC version of their recently announced title, Red Dead Redemption 2. If you want to be skeptical, that’s fine. However you won’t find better proof than what we have uncovered here.

This source code is found on the Red Dead Redemption 2 official website/page. We have highlighted the references to “PC Games” and “Computer Games”.

Now before you try and jump all over the story and try to suggest is means nothing, let us say more. We have checked the other Red Dead website pages on the Rockstar website and have found ZERO instances of “PC”, “PC Games”, “Computer Games”, or “Computer”. It’s only on the RDR2 page that you will find reference to a PC version of the game. It’s not an accident that the RDR2 page has these PC related keywords listed.

We can appreciate that PC gamers are vocal and passionate. After there is a petition going full speed ahead which demands Rockstar release a PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2.

Do not think that the treatment of PC gamers for GTA 5 will be repeated by Rockstar for Red Dead Redemption 2. If you recall it took virtually one and a half years after the console release for PC gamers to get their launch. Delays were the main culprit and things happen when it comes to PC technology.

There is a lot of money to be had from a PC version of RDR2 and Rockstar would be fully aware of this. Since the GTA V PC release, you could argue that PC gaming have become much more mainstream and much more desirable. Simply said, PC must be a priority for Rockstar and you bet they can feel the heat already from not disclosing any information about a PC version of RDR2.

We hope with our nugget, you can feel a bit more confident about the PC version coming. Release date is another matter all together but let’s hope Rockstar does the PC gamers right on this game.
